About me

Hello, my name is Julia Rudman. I was born in North Shields, England, in 1961. I grew up in the north and south of England.

I studied European Finance and Accounting (EFA) at Leeds Metropolitan University, including one year at the Fachhochschule Bremen, and whilst writing my dissertation, in 1993, I moved to a small town near Hanover, Germany. Later we moved to Celle.

The birth of the children made me look carefully at the playful and educational aspects of teaching English in a German environment. A successful experiment!

Now I live near Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, with my two teenage children.

Since living in Oldenburg I have done a number of select translations and in 2008 I started giving English training. In 2009 the English training really took off and I have fun opening the world of English to my clients.
